AGREEMENT


For good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged.
This Agreement is entered by and between ARTBEI GALLERY and the undersigned ARTIST.
In exchange for the online presentation, promotion and eventual sale of my artwork(s), I agree to the following:

  1. ARTBEI GALLERY will exhibit my artwork(s) online on the Art Beirut Gallery webpage (www.artbeirutgallery.com)

  2. The ARTIST’s artworks will remain on the website until they are sold or until the ARTIST requests their removal.

  3. ARTIST grants ARTBEI GALLERY the right to represent ARTIST in the subsequent sale of the artwork(s).

  4. ARTBEI GALLERY has the right to sell and distribute the ARTIST’s artwork(s) both in Lebanon and internationally for as long as the artwork(s) remain listed on the website.

  5. ARTIST’s contact information is not shown on the website. Therefore, ARTBEI GALLERY is the exclusive link between the client and the artist.

  6. If any buyer is introduced to ARTIST’s artwork(s) through ARTBEI GALLERY, any eventual sale resulting from that will be subject to the terms of this Agreement.

  7. ARTIST shall be ready to cooperate with ARTBEI GALLERY in order to complete the selling process, by providing information as well as all the necessary documents and by taking part in the meeting(s) with potential clients.

  8. The retail price of each artwork is set by the ARTIST in discussion with ARTBEI GALLERY. For online sales, ARTBEI GALLERY retains a commission of 30%, which is deducted from the retail price established by the ARTIST. This rate applies only to online sales; physical gallery sales are subject to a different commission.

  9. ARTISTS outside Lebanon are responsible for any exchange rate charges or bank transfer charges.

  10. ARTIST is responsible for delivering the artwork(s) to ARTBEI GALLERY. ARTBEI GALLERY will handle packaging and shipping for sold artwork(s), with costs charged to the buyer unless otherwise agreed. If artwork(s) remain unsold, ARTBEI GALLERY will cover the cost of returning them to the ARTIST.

  11. If an artwork is sold privately and not through ARTBEI GALLERY, notification of sale is mandatory within 48 hours and will be done by ARTIST via an email sent to contact@artbeirutgallery.com.

  12. ARTIST gives permission to ARTBEI GALLERY for the use of his or her artwork(s) images for the sole purposes of advertising, marketing, brochure, catalogs, and social media.

  13. All modifications of this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties: ARTBEI GALLERY and ARTIST.


Before proceeding, the applicant shall agree to the terms listed above including all 12 points.
